It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
If you have done the Discovery Course you will know we define "Becoming a Spiritually Mature Christian" as simply "Becoming more like Jesus"
So How do we become more like Jesus?
Yes we read, yes we pray, yes we develop a relationship, but more than all this, more than everything we can learn and everything we know about that people tell us, explain to us and exhort us to emulate

We have to actually put it into practice. WWJD
What Would Jesus Do?
How would he act, what would he say, how would he reach across a divide of life without Him and a life with Him
In school today, at work or in the home, when faced with a difficult decision or a potential arguement WWJD???????
and let me start the ball rolling by apologising for the last post,
because He wouldn't have done that.
SORRY :-)
because He wouldn't have done that.

thank you for the owlie link... it's what Jesus would have done : )
Here is a joke I read...
Q. Why didn't Jesus, son of God, savior, redeemer, lamb of God, ruler of creation, bread of life, son of man, light of the world, word of God, Lord - why didn't he laugh?
A. Because he always knew the punchline.
...But I hear he had a very effective line in sarcasm! Tee Hee.
